Vegetarian Rant

We have come a long way with nearly all restaurants providing a vegetarian option. But I’ve never settled for settling. Why, why, why must you only provide for me one option?—- That’s not really an option, is it? It’s more like, you are a vegetarian, therefore you will be eating this. I don’t like that. Provide me with choices. Chef, do you fear vegetables? Are you afraid of creating flavor from things other than dead carcass? Allow the beauty of fruits, vegetables, nuts, oils, grains, legumes, seeds, and spices to grace your menu… and my tongue.

The patterns combine high-tech gadgetry with traditional Japanese themes and motifs, like cherry blossoms and tortoise shells, meant to symbolize good fortune, happiness and longevity.
